I finally finished something! Actually, I had most of the cowl finished a while ago; I was just too lazy to sew the ends together.
I’m an avid follower of allaboutami’s patterns, so when I saw her “The Twist Cowl” pattern, I had to make it! You can find the pattern here.
I made this cowl using Lion Brand’s Wool-Ease Thick and Quick in “Fisherman”. I absolutely love working with Thick and Quick. Actually, the first thing I ever crocheted was a circle scarf using Thick and Quick. I also got the yarn on sale at Joann’s ($9.78 for two skeins), so it was a double-win! I only ended up using about 1.5 skeins, so now I need to find out what I want to make with the rest.
It’s finally getting colder where I live, so I can’t wait to test out my new cowl! In the mean time, here’s my makeshift model.
Doesn’t she look cozy?
